Hatstand Opera: Join the opera podcast revolution with Podopera

Back on the airwaves after a break, the Hatstand Opera podcast Podopera has been downloaded by almost 8,000 listeners!
The launch of Podopera, the world’s first regular podcast by a professional opera company, attracted worldwide media interest from Brazil to Japan! Hatstand’s director Kirsty was interviewed by “Opera News” in New York and mentioned in The Times in the UK, and the Theatrical Management Association invited her to present a seminar on podcasting as a result.
Podopera also achieved major rankings in the iTunes podcast charts, reaching number 4 – in the Swedish charts!
Includes free opera audio tracks!
Each Podopera broadcast to date includes a track from our cd, and we’ve plans to include some exclusive opera tracks in forthcoming editions.
What on earth is an opera podcast?
Imagine a radio programme dedicated to news, interviews and stories about Hatstand Opera (and much more), that you could listen to wherever and whenever you wanted. That's Podopera, our new podcast. Podcasts are delivered right to your computer desktop automatically, and then downloaded to your mp3 player, or burnt to a cd, for you to listen to, rewind, share with friends, or listen to in the car. Clever, isn't it!
Blimey, that sounds technical...
You can listen to our Hatstand Opera podcast right now! Just click on the Listen Now! link under the picture and a new window will open in your browser. Now click on one of the Podopera programmes listed, and it'll play it for you. Magic! (When you've done, just close the window to return to this web site.)
I'm cool, I know what a podcast is. How do I subscribe?
Just drag the orange button opposite into your RSS feed programme. Remember to set your preferences to automatic download new editions. If that doesn't work, paste the following RSS feed information:

Sounds fun! How can I get one of these RSS feed jobbies?
I'm biased, but iTunes is probably the best software - and it's free. Find out more by clicking the iTunes button on the right.
