Hatstand Opera have moved!
Hatstand Opera have moved! The UK leaders in fun opera entertainment have moved to bigger and brighter surroundings in sunny Hampshire, but we'll still be performing all over the UK and beyond, never fear!
For full details of our new address, go to our Hatstand Opera contact details and telephone number page. Apologies if you have rung the old number and got some strange beeps - technical gremlins nobbled the forwarding message...
Lights, Camera...Action! wows the audiences

Our new show has proved a great hit with audiences, who all seems to have one number they absolutely love in the show. We've had ladies in tears over "Nella Fantasia", the theme from 'The Mission' expertly arranged by baritone Bryan, and grown men in raptures over Richard?s hilarious spoof-song "Springtime for Hitler" from 'The Producers'. Yet the reaction that completely floored us all was when the ENTIRE audience at one show, aged 16 to 65+ sang along with the Laurel and Hardy hit "Trail of the Lonesome Pine." All together now, "On a mountain in Virginia..."
As Seen on TV

Kirsty recently spent a very frustrating 3.5 hours filming a 'discussion' programme for E4, "Get Your Act Together ... The Showdown." Apart from the fact that only she and one other chap got a word in edgeways past the presenter, at least she was in good company. She was directly behind two boys from G4, Alfie Boe and the Opera Babes, who had to leave before they could say a word either!
Charity Begins at Home

May marks the start of our charity fundraising performance series, as the whole of the UK seems to move outside in a mass display of hope over adversity!
We'll be raising funds for a whole variety of good causes, from small local charities such as Andy's Fund in Barnt Green near Birmingham on Sunday 10 June to national charities such as the NSPCC on Friday 20 July. Check out our diary for full details.
Hatstand sing in the Spa!

This summer, Hatstand are delighted to be joining the legendary Scarborough Spa Orchestra for a series of performances during the summer months.
We start on the floating stage at Peasholm Park on Friday 15 June with a special edition of our new show "Lights, Camera...Action!" It's a great evening, and we are all looking forward to travelling to the stage via motorised swan boat - yes really!
Only a week later, Toni and Kirsty will be entertaining with their Dynamic Divas show on Friday 22 June in the Grand Hall at The Spa, Scarborough - no swan required! See our diary for full details.
