Hatstand Opera’s soprano Toni and mezzo Kirsty will be the guest soloists in the forthcoming concert by the Questors Choir, “Viva L’amore! Music of love, passion, hope and betrayal from the world of opera“, on Saturday 31 March at 7.30pm.
The choir will sing famous opera choruses, including:
• The Bell Chorus from “Pagliacci”
• The Anvil Chorus from “Il trovatore”
• Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves from “Nabucco”
• March of the Toreadors from “Carmen”
and other favourite items.
When we join them, Kirsty gets to release her inner Carmen, and Toni sings a wonderful piece from Mozart’s “Idomeneo”. We will also be performing two short sets from our Dynamic Duet repertoire, just for fun!
Tickets are just £12 on the door, or save and book in advance for the bargain price of £10. Plus, your ticket price includes a glass of wine or soft drink too!
